Melon publicou sua lista completa com as 100 melhores músicas de K-pop de todos os tempos!
Para resumir as últimas três décadas do K-pop, o Melon (o maior serviço de streaming de música da Coréia) contou com a ajuda de 35 críticos musicais e especialistas da indústria. Cada um dos 35 juízes precisavam primeiro criar sua própria lista individual com as 100 músicas que eles consideravam as melhores de todos os tempos, e essas 35 listas foram usadas para criar a lista final das 100 músicas de K-pop.
Os 35 juízes foram solicitados a escolher suas listas de 100 músicas com base nos quatro critérios a seguir: importância (a influência de uma música na Coreia e no exterior, sua marca no crescimento do K-pop e sua singularidade musical e ousadia criativa), sucesso (sua popularidade na Coreia e no exterior e no fandom), qualidade artística (a criatividade artística de uma música e o nível de qualidade) e desempenho (a coreografia da música, videoclipe e apresentações no palco).
